I run Aula, a small web design studio for local businesses. I'm also a photographer and business student at the University of Redlands, and I've shot athletes and training for AION Training in Denver.
I do the work myself, I'll come by in person, and everything is set up in your name so nothing depends on me.
Every site comes with a photo shoot.
I'm a photographer first. I shoot your crew on the job and the products you sell, so customers see the real thing instead of stock photos.

How much does a website cost?
I quote a flat price after you've seen your mockup, based on the size of site your business needs. There are three sizes: Starter (one page, your photos), Studio (a full site with a photo shoot) and Complete (Studio plus a monthly care plan). Founding rates hold for anyone who books by December 31, 2026. Starter and Studio have no monthly fees.
Do I pay anything before I see it?
No. I build a first version and show it to you on your phone. If you want it, you pay half to start and half when it goes live. If not, you owe nothing.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The domain, hosting and site files are set up in your name, so nothing depends on me. Any web developer can work on it later.
Who owns the photos?
I keep the copyright, and your business gets a permanent license to use them on your site, Google listing and social media.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Local businesses in Redlands and nearby: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trades, auto repair and detailing, barbershops and salons, cafes and restaurants, and other service businesses. Especially ones with no website or an outdated one.
Can customers book or request a quote on the site?
Yes. I connect the booking app you already use, like Square, Booksy, Vagaro or Fresha, or add a short quote request that sends the details straight to you.
Will it show up on Google?
Every site is set up to be found: page titles, descriptions, structured business details, your service area, and a link from your Google listing. Nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking, but this covers what most local businesses are missing.
How long does it take?
The first mockup usually takes a few days to a week. Once you say yes, we set a launch date together, and I schedule your photo shoot around your hours.
Can I change things myself later?
Simple things like specials and hours can be set up so you edit them from your phone. For anything bigger, I can make the change, or any developer can.
